Interactive Experience for Vogue Tyre

Vogue Tyre, Cadillac CTS QA Graphics helped Vogue Tyre launch EnTyre 360°, an online shopping tool for the car parts aftermarket. EnTyre 360° is an interactive experience that lets customers virtually modify their vehicle to see exactly how custom accessories like tires and wheels will look on their car before purchasing.

“EnTyre 360° has been very well received by our visitors to Vogue’s website,” said Ken Brockway, director of Vogue Tyre marketing. “This software was designed exclusively for us and brings a whole new perspective to customizing vehicles.”

Visitors can see their vehicle in 3D and use the online tool to customize their vehicle, choosing from true factory colors, wheels, grilles, tires and a body kit. Viewers can choose from the top-selling accessories available, with the selections shown almost instantly in a full 360-degree view to see the updates from every angle. Currently, EnTyre 360° has two models on display ― the Cadillac CTS and Lexus RX350. QA Graphics will continue to work with Vogue Tyre to roll out additional models in 2010.  See the cutting-edge application on Vogue Tyre’s website, http://www.voguetyre.com/3d/index.php.

Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard for Chemawa Indian School

Energy DashboardQA Graphics developed an Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard for Chemawa Indian School, the oldest continuously operating boarding school in the U.S., to track and improve the campus’ building performance. Chemawa is using the EEED to see how much power, water, and gas is being used throughout the campus. The EEED is displayed on an interactive 19-inch monitor located in the campus’ boiler room and will primarily be used by the school’s facility staff. The EEED communicates with the school’s building automation system to display the utility usage information that it is monitoring.

Environmental Controls is also utilizing the EEED to track the performance of the new control system. “Our engineers remote log-in online to view the EEED. They view the different gauges to verify that the new control system design is in fact providing the energy efficient results that it was planned to do,” said Don Lawrence, Environmental Controls project manager. “This will be a long-term support effort to ensure the campus’ control system is running efficiently as planned.” Learn more about this project.

Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard for a Green Library

finksburg library's green featuresQA Graphics created an Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard (EEED) for the new Finksburg Branch of the Carroll County Public Library in Maryland. The library is using the EEED to educate staff and patrons on the new building’s energy efficiencies, carbon footprintlive electricity use of green library and green initiatives. The information is presented in an easy to understand format, similar to a Web site, on an interactive touchscreen to show users the library’s energy consumption in real-time. Users can also check the weather and learn more about the library’s various green features, including a geothermal heat pump, storm water management, solar hot water and recyclable materials.

Scott Reinhart, assistant director of Carroll County Public Library, said working with QA Graphics was a real pleasure. “We’re delighted with the product both technically and artistically. It’s so gratifying to see kids interacting with the dashboard and learning how we are helping our environment,” said Reinhart. Learn more.

"Everyone’s overall reaction to the dashboard has definitely brought the WOW factor to a new level,” said Richards. “The touch screen hits customers right in the face when they walk in the restaurant. It’s so unique and different; people are walking right up and touching the dashboard right away. The 360-degree view is very impressive. It really allows users to interact with it.”

“When working with the QA Graphics’ team, everyone was very open to ideas and suggestions throughout the process, and they provided great feedback on how to better improve the process,” said Richards. “The most impressive part was that they never had to make an on-site visit. We did all the work though discussions by phone and email.”   View news coverage.  See news videos
