Show building efficiencies with our green touchscreen

Energy Efficiency Education DashboardHas your organization built a new sustainable building?

Retrofitted your current building?

Use the Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard (EEED) to showcase your building’s sustainable efforts. The EEED is an industry-leading graphical user interface (GUI) used to educate the public about a building’s efficient resource use, green features, carbon footprint reduction, recycling procedures, company information and other sustainable initiatives.  Everything is presented in a user-friendly format similar to a website, making it easy to use for all ages.

The dashboard can be displayed separately or simultaneously on the internet, intranet, or a hardware display (touch screen or kiosk). Each EEED is custom designed to showcase your building and provide education about its sustainable features.

How EEEDs Work
A building’s real-time resource use can be shown by integrating the EEED into the building’s control system. This allows the EEED to “talk” to the building automation system (BAS) and display the real-time resource use, making reporting the metrics of the BAS much easier to read and understand.

QA Graphics works in conjunction with building integrators to incorporate the EEED, enabling us to control costs and offer a more affordable option to display energy efficiencies. We are not a system integrator; the EEED is used as a supplement to the building automation system.

A variety of features include:  Show live utility data from your building on an energy dashboard
• Home page component
• Resource use shown in real-time
• Historical comparison graphs
• Calculators to compute savings
• Green features
• Environmental tips
• Leaderboard comparison among multiple buildings
• LEED checklist
• Current weather conditions
• Advertisement/donor recognition
• Interactive quizzes
• Company information
• Other custom options

How is QA Graphics’ Energy Dashboard Different from Others?

YOU Control It
Our EEED is a product, which you maintain control of with NO contracts or recurring fees. And your internal IT professionals can decide how it’s integrated into your network.  Why pay monthly fees for a product? If for some reason you need help, or want an update, we’ll be here.

YOU Can Change It
Our design team will work with you closely to create an EEED specific to your organization’s needs, with photo-realistic graphics, educational demos, interactive components and more. Then you have the ability to update the EEED and change the information as often as you want. Easily update content, images or videos throughout the dashboard using a simple content management system (CMS).  We’ll provide training, but rest assured, making edits will be easy.

How the EEED is used:
QA Graphics has provided EEEDs for state buildings, schools, libraries, hospitals, universities, commercial buildings, and even the 3rd green McDonald’s in the U.S. Whoever your audience is, an EEED can be created to fit your facility’s individual needs. Don’t just take our word for it– QA Graphics has won two different magazine people’s choice awards: Environmental Design and Construction (ED+C) and Sustainable Facility magazines’ 2009 Readers’ Choice Awards and Building Operating Management’s 2009 Top Products Award. Learn more about these awards.

Check out all of our EEED industry pages to learn more about how you can share your green initiatives: Schools, Universities, Libraries, Commercial Buildings, Government Buildings, and Restaurants.

* QA Graphics is currently working on a number of EEEDs for a variety of organizations. Due to customer requests or resale partnership agreements, not all of our projects may be showcased on our website.

Building Performance
Building control companies, system integrators, AEC professionals, and building owners rely on the EEED for easy utility usage data.

Any utility data points pulled from the BAS can be displayed.
Display resource use in hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly statistics.
Show historical data to compare consumption patterns.
Translate savings into monetary results.

Green Education Tool
EEEDs are a powerful educational tool for any institution to teach employees, customers, students or visitors about a building’s green features.

•  Explain what sustainable efforts the building has in place.
Show how a building’s efficiencies save money, taxpayers’ dollars and help the environment.
Form a competition that encourages building occupants to save resources.

Building Leaderboard
Engage building occupants with an ongoing contest that compares a campus or multiple buildings’ energy efficiency consumption and motivates them to be more involved in energy conservation.

Display any utility data collected by the building automation system in hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly increments.
Show occupants how they compare among floors within a building or against multiple buildings throughout a campus.
Provide historical information showing participants’ past rankings.

EEEDs are used by both LEED and non-LEED buildings.
For LEED buildings, the EEED may help achieve a variety of credits. Visit www.usgbc.org to learn more about these credits and their requirements.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
