Building Operating Management 2009 Top Products Award

QA Graphics is a recipient of the 2009 Top Products Award from Building Operating Management magazine. This prestigious, annual award recognizes the most popular manufacturers and suppliers of the year as determined by building and facility executives. QA Graphics was recognized for its Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard (EEED).

Building Operating Management is written for commercial and institutional building owners, and its editorial coverage includes topics such as energy efficiency and strategies, facility technology, executive management, safety and security, facility management and ‘green’ buildings. The Top Products Award recognizes products that appear on FacilitiesNet.com and generate the highest level of click-through interest from building and facility executives.

From October 2007 through September 2008, nearly 900 products were displayed on the FacilitiesNet.com home page. QA Graphics’ EEED finished in the top 10 percent of all those posted in 12 months. The EEED is an industry-leading graphical user interface (GUI) solution used to educate the public on a building’s energy efficiencies and sustainability features. It has the ability to easily acquire data from any building automation system (BAS) and report it in an easy to understand, interactive format on the internet, intranet, or hardware device, such as a touch screen. The EEED solution makes reporting the metrics of a building’s automation system easier to read and understand by displaying it in a creative user-friendly format for building users and the public.


Environmental Design and Construction (ED+C) and Sustainable Facility magazines’ 2009 Readers’ Choice Awards

QA Graphics is a recipient of the annual 2009 Readers’ Choice Award, an online contest organized by Environmental Design and Construction and Sustainable Facility magazines. 

The 2009 contest allowed manufacturers to showcase their green building products within nine different product categories, and then readers cast their vote for what they thought were the best green building products and the most easy to use. QA Graphics’ Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard was named the best energy conservation product.  The winners were announced at the U.S. Green Building Council’s 2009 Greenbuild conference held in Phoenix.
